Bethesda scraps its launcher and switches to Steam

Starting in April, it’s time to start migrating.

Anyone who hates having a lot of different launchers on their computer can rejoice at the news that it will soon be a smaller one, at least if you play Bethesda’s products. Via sin website they announce that it’s time to say goodbye to Bethesda.net Launcher, but also assure that all games we own are safe.

Starting in April, we will be able to migrate our games and any wallets to our Steam accounts. The save files for many games will also be transferred automatically, while others require manual hand-laying. The Bethesda account itself will still be there and available via the website, and you will continue to have to log in to play certain games.

This only applies to PC players, and console players do not have to do anything.
