El Rosal shopping center, owned by Lar España Real Estate Socimi and managed by Grupo Lar through Gentalia, together with the Bierzo and Laciana Brotherhood of Blood Donors, are collaborating for yet another year in the solidarity campaign Donar es de Cine.
The extraction unit is already located at the main entrance of the shopping center so that everyone who wishes can come to make their donation, until this Saturday, February 26, from 09:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
It should be noted that, in accordance with legal regulations, people recently vaccinated against Covid-19 can collaborate in this campaign as normal, without requiring any waiting time after receiving the dose. For their part, people who have just overcome the disease will not be able to make their donation if two weeks have not passed since their medical discharge.
As usual, the Bierzo and Laciana Brotherhood of Blood Donors has set up an additional information point inside El Rosal so that all those interested can get more information about donations and the work carried out by the organization.
El Rosal will give away, like every year, a movie ticket to enjoy at the La Dehesa Cinemas in Ponferrada to all the people who come to donate. Participants will also be given a hamburger for their charitable contribution.

One more year, the shopping center reaffirms its commitment to the Brotherhood of Blood Donors by collaborating in this already famous solidarity initiative. Javier Gutiérrez, director of El Rosal, highlights the success that this campaign has always had and underlines the importance of contributing to causes as important as this one since “we are increasingly aware that with small gestures such as blood donations we can save many lives.”
