Why no money flowed from the old town fund for four years

Only a few knew about it – why no money flowed from the old town fund for four years and how much is still in it

In 2009, the city of Brugg issued the guidelines for granting contributions from the old town fund. But the owners who converted or renovated their properties apparently had no knowledge of this. The starting capital of CHF 764,000 remained untouched for the time being. Now there is even an exception.

Funds from the old town fund were approved for the house of the Altstadt Brugg cooperative (far right) and the “Flusshaus” (on the left).
