Since then, slowly coming out other models that are no less interesting. In 2018, launched MPV Cortez with a 1,800 cc engine and a year later, Cortez was introduced with a choice of a 1,500 cc turbo engine.
Then in 2019, the Wuling SUV is also present don’t get it which has advanced features for vehicle in his class. Furthermore, in 2021, the Almaz RS is presented with the Advance Driver Assistance System (ADAS) feature.

Wuling Confero S is a Wuling product whose age is approaching five years in 2022. There are several advantages and disadvantages of Wuling Confero S that are felt by its owners.
Hendra Susanto, Founder of Wuling Club Indonesia (WLCI) who is also the owner of the 2017 Confero S, shared his experience of caring for the Wuling Confero S before five years of use.
“The Confero has already been tested for the engine. Only for supports such as legs, air conditioners and others have a short service life,” said Hendra to Kompas.comrecently.

Components of the legs that are often damaged such as rack steer, tie rod, long tie rod, ball joint, lower arm bushing, shock breaker. When it comes to the price of spare parts, they are relatively cheap, but they don’t last long.
“On average, 40,000 km and above have begun to feel, if the price is indeed cheap, but if it breaks quickly, it will be expensive too,” said Hendra.
Bayu Firmansyah, President of WLCI and owner of the 2018 Wuling Cortez also gave his experience. For three years of use, Cortez’s legs often experience problems, even before 10,000 km.
“From those 7,000 kilometers, the legs are already oblique. The first time I had it, I took it to Bromo, when I got home it was oblak. I changed the steering rack, because it was still free, so I ordered it first, it was recorded, it didn’t take me a month to get it replaced,” he said.
In addition to the problem of the legs, there are several problems that often appear on Cortez, namely the stuck power window. Bayu said that the official repair shop was aware of this and many Cortez users had experienced it.
“So the glass doesn’t want to go up, and it’s replaced for free. This is indeed a Cortez problem, the information from community friends, the workshop people also said that,” said Bayu.
Regarding aftersales services, Hendra said that Wuling had to improve before five years in Indonesia. This is because, the first few owners of Confero, of course, the warranty has expired, so they need good aftersales service.
“The availability of spare parts is not limited to official workshops. Provide depots in various areas. Let them sell to districts, sub-districts, and all kinds of things,” said Hendra.
Hendra said that consumers should not only rely on authorized dealers or repair shops. Unfortunately, at the dealership, the availability of spare parts is sometimes lacking, it even seems like they don’t keep stock.
“They should be able to read, how many thousand kilometers of the car have been used, what are the problems and what spare parts are needed. It’s just that they don’t want stock,” said Hendra.
Hendra also found that for aftersales in various regions, the standardization of workshops is still not uniform. It even seems that Wuling is less prepared to arrange after-sales services, only focusing on selling.
“For spare parts, the waiting period must be clear, sometimes up to weeks. So people seem to have a hard time finding spare parts,” said Hendra.

For shops outside official workshops, Hendra has not yet found the availability of Wuling spare parts. So currently Wuling owners still rely on official workshops to buy spare parts and make repairs.
The Existence of Wuling Products in the Used Car Market
Entering the age of five years in Indonesia, of course, various Wuling products have started to appear in the used car market. For example, Confero, Cortez, and Almaz, have started to be found in used car sales.
Joni Gunawan, one of the used car businessmen at WTC Mangga Dua, said that Wuling products in the used car market have begun to have interest. But for stock, it’s still limited, not too much.
“There are Cortez and Almaz models, but not too many used cars,” said Joni.
Regarding the price, Joni said that the two products are stable. Cortez is in the range of Rp. 150 million to Rp. 190 million, while the official Almaz is in the range of Rp. 240 million to Rp. 300 million.
“Stable, it means the price of the used ones doesn’t fall,” he said
