UNITED NATIONS, Feb 22 (Reuters) – The United States, Britain and France on Monday called for an immediate meeting of the UN Security Council after Russia earlier acknowledged the independence of two breakaway regions in eastern Ukraine, diplomats said.
It is up to Russia, which holds the rotating presidency of the Council, to schedule this meeting.
