A retired couple from Lunel won more than 67 million euros to a drawing ofEuromillions of January, according to the Française des jeux, the FDJ. This is the biggest gain won in the Hérault.
The lucky winners ticked the 3, 12, 19, 24 and 30, as well as the numbers 2 and 5 on the stars, as a bonus, thus collecting the record prize of €67,441,797. A real jackpot.
These retirees who wish to remain anonymous, accustomed to playing Euromillions, validated their grid at the tobacco-press of the Portes de la Mer, route de Nîmes, in Lunel. They’ve seen gold stars twinkle since they received their check.
According to the FDJ, the couple said they were “stunned when they realized that they were multi-millionaires”. These retirees will be able to spoil their children and grandchildren, but also have fun.
