Kremlin-controlled media have said on Monday they said allegations that five Ukrainian “saboteurs” had been killed in the Rostov region, but Kiev has denied the allegations as “false news” being spread over the invasion of Ukraine.

Russian news agencies TASS and EIA Rovosti claim that a Ukrainian “diversion-intelligence group” has entered the Rostov region and that five “border violators have been exterminated”.

According to the Russian media, two Ukrainian armored personnel carriers entered the territory of Russia to evacuate the “saboteurs” and were shot dead.
