What if the office self and the private self were strictly separated from each other with a microchip in the brain? Ben Stiller directs this eerily beautiful notion of perfect work-life balance in Severance (2022). With dark humor and a top-class cast (Adam Scott, Christopher Walken), the sci-fi series could become one of the surprise hits of the year.
