During the day on Thursday, the secretary of Agriculture, Livestock and Agroindustry belonging to the Ministry of Production and Economic Development traveled to the province of Mendoza to participate in a field day, focused on tomatoes for industry.
The activity took place in the town of La Consulta, in the department of San Carlos and brought together all the sectors that make up the industry, from producers to extension workers, industrialists, technicians, researchers and service providers related to tomato cultivation.

On this occasion, the twenty-seventh uninterrupted edition was held, with the support of the Tomate 2000 association and the National Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries.
The event began at 9 in the morning with a tour of the 35 stands of the companies that showed their products for soil improvement and fertilization, biological and nutritional controls, irrigation systems, new technologies and machinery for cultivation.
The conference was attended by more than 400 guests representing the entire production chain.

During lunch, the Secretary of Agriculture, Martín Gómez Sabatié expressed his gratitude for the invitation and highlighted the importance of the event for the sector, both for the province and for the region.

At the end, the 2021 Campaign distinctions were awarded and raffles were held for products donated by the exhibiting companies at the event.
