According to Snapchat, the ability to change names is one of the most requested changes among users, writes Tek.no.
And now these users are being heard.
According to the website, you can already change the username you created when you created your account on 23 February. The change will not affect friends lists, memories or Snap scores and more.
How to change your name, according to Tek.no:
- Tap the “Bitmoji icon” in the upper left corner of the camera feature of the Snapchat app. There you will find your profile.
- Select the gear in the upper right corner to access settings.
- Press «User Name» and select «Change Username» highlighted in blue
- Press “continue” on the message that reminds you that you can only change your username once a year.
- Enter a new username, tap next and log in again on Snapchat to finish!
