Additional 3 points make Persebaya Surabaya re-entered the ranks of candidates for the BRI Liga 1 trophy this year and ended their winning streak which had occurred in 4 consecutive matches.
Persebaya Surabaya is currently in 5th position in the BRI Liga 1 standings with 48 points from 26 matches.
