The Liège-center section of the PS has appointed Mehmet Aydogdu to replace Pierre Stassart.
We announced it this Friday… after several weeks of procrastination, Pierre Stassart, alderman sentenced in mid-December (read below) did submit his resignation this week. The College of Aldermen of Liège confirmed this on Friday, in fact, the college has received a letter in which it announces that it is presenting its resignation as alderman of the City of Liège.
This Saturday morning already, an assembly of the Liège-center section of the PS therefore met in order to appoint his replacement. And as we wrote a few weeks ago, it was PS municipal councilor Mehmet Aydogdu who was appointed unanimously.
