Manchester, England /
One of the loudest bombshells a few months ago it was Harry Kane al Manchester City, the same as he made sure ‘it was done’but in the end it did not happen. Pep Guardiola revealed that they did everything to hire English, but what Tottenham asked for was impossible to pay.
Manchester City needed (and seems to still do) a center frontor fixed that adds a good scoring fee every season; on Kane saw that man 25-30 goals, but the reality is that Spurs hit them up to 4 times.
How was the transfer of Kane to City frustrated?
Speaking at a press conference, prior to the clash between Manchester City y Tottenham, Guardiola was questioned by Harry Kane and admitted that he did want him on his team, but he acknowledged that the rival team had never intended to sell it.
“We tried but the Tottenham was clear that it was not going to happen. now you can say that Harry Kane did not come and that we are doing very well without a striker, but at the time I didn’t know that. When you try hard but they tell you ‘no’ two, three and four times, you know it’s not going to happen“, confessed Pep Guardiola.

Guardiola regrets that Kane has not arrivedsince he admitted that Manchester City lacks a ‘killer’ to guide the team, but he finally accepted Tottenham’s decision and didn’t make a fuss, as that’s not his style.
“We don’t have a guy who is going to score 25 or 30 goals, but we need what three or four get 10 or 12 and we will be close to winning the title. I am never disappointed if we fail with someone in the transfer market. I will never make a fuss about it”, sentenced Pep Guardiola.
Despite the illusion of Manchester City for him Kane’s signingThe front English is not living its best momentthen after disputing 21 games in the Premier League, only add 5 goals, a figure that is well below what is normally used to. Tottenham asked for 200 MDE for him.
