Caution on the roads | VAT News

Caution is advised on Quebec roads as many sections are snow-covered and visibility is reduced in places.

In Montérégie, almost the entire road network is snowy and visibility is reduced on several sections of roads and highways. On routes 112, 116 and 122, visibility is nil, as well as on routes 137 and 139.

In the Capitale-Nationale region, visibility is zero on Highway 440 between downtown Quebec City and the Montmorency River bridge.

Visibility is zero on Highway 20 between Sainte-Eulalie and Villeroy, in Centre-du-Québec.

Road conditions are also difficult in the Chaudière-Appalaches region where visibility is zero on Highway 20 between Saint-Michel-de-Bellechasse and La Pocatière.

Transports Québec reports numerous accidents and road trips. Accidents involving several vehicles have occurred on the Pie-IX bridge in Montreal and on Highway 35 in Montérégie. Many losses of control are reported all over the road network of the greater metropolitan area.
