The Irish Anna Mieke brings her folk today (8:30 pm. 8 euros) to the El Albéitar Theater. Anna Mieke is an Irish artist, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. With a background in Irish folk, Ella Mieke incorporates into her music many nuances that she has accumulated on her travels to New Zealand, Spain and other European countries.
Her training as an ethnomusicologist has been key to understanding these diverse languages and converting them into her own musical expression where diverse traditions coexist that, together with her youth, endow her entire songbook with an unusual freshness. Blue skies, open spaces, horizons that get closer and little by little become everyday places, that shows the music of Anna Mieke if you are curious enough to approach this talented artist.
