Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is ‘ironed’ by car in endurance test (video)

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is the latest flagship from the South Korean manufacturer. After being presented last week, it arrives on the Portuguese market on the 25th of February. For now, it is being tested intensively.

The YouTube channel PBKReviews is known for its intensive smartphone testing. And in the latest video, this one tested the equipment’s dexterity and durability in the toughest conditions.

The test starts with the smartphone being immersed in water for about an hour. And as you would expect, nothing bad happens to it, as it is IP68 certified. When faced with scratches, it starts to have visible damage on the screen from level 6. On the back of the terminal, scratches are visible only at level 8.

Even faced with risks, the biometric sensor embedded in the screen does not face any problems. The usual folding test is tried, and the smartphone does not suffer any damage to it. But as this channel has already accustomed us, the test is taken to another level.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra withstands the passing of a car

Let’s imagine that you drop your smartphone before getting in the car and run over it with the wheel. Can you handle it? Aside from some scratches on the screen, it seems that nothing has happened with the smartphone.

This leads to the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra receiving an excellent score of 9.5 out of 10 points in the test. It receives top marks for water resistance, material quality, possible bending and safety. Just in scratch resistance you lose half a point.

The only flaw of this test is that we don’t see how the smartphone withstands drops. But given all the robustness, it is credible that the smartphone can behave safely in these types of conditions.
