This is probably due to the two different disc drives the consoles have. The PlayStation 4 uses a standard Blu-ray disc drive that can read about 50 GB of data, while the PlayStation 5 uses an Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive that can read 100 GB even faster.
Earlier it was announced that the pre-load of Gran Turismo 7 will be about 89.5 GB, slightly more than ten gigabytes less than its predecessor GT Sport. This game also appeared on the PlayStation 4 with two discs.
Fans have had to wait a long time for it, but Gran Turismo 7 is really almost out now. The game will be released on March 4 for PS5 and PS4.
