A story from the street
Emin’s story was discovered by Viktor Tauš, the director of the originally theatrical performance, literally on the street. During his time as a homeless man in Prague, he met a girl who told him about her childhood in an orphanage, foster parents and a trapdoor in the 1980s, in socialist Czechoslovakia.

Apart from the theater, Tauš also processed the story in other forms. Among other things, in the book, the performance was played directly in the streets during the pandemic, or in other, non-traditional spaces. According to him, the film form of the theater performance is a thank you to those spectators who did not leave the theater – often closed – even during the pandemic.
