A shark attack occurred on February 16 in Australia. Human remains were found after this attack which took place in the south-east of Sydney.
In the late afternoon, emergency services responded to calls informing them that a swimmer had been attacked by a shark at Little Bay Beach, around 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday February 16. When they arrived on the scene, the rescuers found only human remains in the water.
‘Unfortunately this person had suffered catastrophic injuries as a result of the attack and there was nothing paramedics could do when we arrived on the scene’said a rescuer after the intervention.
Little Bay beach has been closed as coastal officers continue to search the area and interview witnesses. Among the witnesses were men fishing from the rocks who described how they saw a man wearing a wetsuit swimming across the bay before he was dragged underwater by a shark.
