President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky put into effect the decision of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) on the Strategy for Ensuring State Security. About it reported on the website of the head of state.

“The state policy is aimed at the timely detection and prevention of external and internal threats to the state security of Ukraine, the cessation of intelligence, terrorist, sabotage and other unlawful encroachments by the special services of foreign states, as well as organizations, individual groups and individuals on the state security of Ukraine,” the document says.

The document, which defines the real and potential threats to Ukraine, also notes that the Russian Federation continues the hybrid war, using political, economic, information and psychological means and cyber attacks. And the activities of the occupation administrations in the Donbass and Crimea threaten the state security of Ukraine.

The document also states that destructive propaganda abroad and within the country provokes conflicts and undermines social unity, and that the current state of the strategic communications system makes it difficult to neutralize this threat against the background of the information expansion of the Russian Federation.

The strategy also provides for the fight against the oligarchs who have established control over strategic enterprises and sectors of the national economy, including through influence on political institutions and processes.
