Regardless of the war or not in Ukraine, electricity prices will be much higher than normal. But if there is a war, we can get record high electricity prices. Europe is dependent on Russian gas and if it disappears, as much as 150 terrawatt must be replaced.

– This corresponds to the entire annual Norwegian hydropower production, says Rystad.

Rystad has faith in the green shift, but believes that the politicians and the authorities could have been even more furious about the porridge and driven harder with offshore wind.
