Invitation to Mrs. Ivana Gottová and Karel Gott Agency to return the covid subsidy in the amount of CZK 1,322,616
Hello to the Czech Republic.
I would like to draw attention to the information concerning the company of my father’s wife, Mr Karel Gott.
I was very surprised to find out that Mrs. Ivana Gottová, as the managing director of Karel Gott Agency, sro, received two financial aids from the state during the coronavirus pandemic.
First CZK 969,864 in Call No. 2 and then CZK 352,752 in Call No. 3. (I send the confirmation from the State Guard website in the attachment to this e-mail…)
While many Czech entrepreneurs who were unable to carry out their activities during the pandemic did not reach for the money or are still waiting for it, my father’s wife received such a large amount of money from the Czech state.
And I ask – why did Mrs. Ivana Gottová need the finances? He does not answer questions on this topic from journalists. The only postponed activities of the Karel Gott Agency at the time of the covid were, as I found out, two previously sold-out memorial concerts for my father at the O2 arena in Prague. Sales for them are quite high and Mrs. Gott certainly did not need a subsidy from the state – no matter what costs – she did not need!
I would also like to emphasize that Mrs. Gottová, through the Karel Gott Agency, collected tens of millions of crowns last year for the sale of my father’s autobiography and also for the sale of tickets for the film Karel. Unlike other entrepreneurs who could not earn and do business through restrictions, she earned a lot of money and in this way I am publicly asking her to return the collected state subsidies!
Already in 2020, which was the first covid year, the Karel Gott Agency company had a profit of CZK 3,200,000, as follows from the collection of documents on justice.cz. As it turned out last year, it is not written in the system yet.
I call for a refund because I don’t really like the approach of the agency that takes care of my father’s artistic estate, and I don’t think my father would like it either.
