Singer Arif ентentürk, a favorite of generations of emigrants and ethnic Turks in Bulgaria, has died in Istanbul at the age of 81, 24rodopi.com reports.
Born in Macedonia in 1941, Arif Senturk emigrated to Turkey with his family in 1956. He first settled in Kirklareli and later settled in Istanbul’s Zeytinburnu district.
He has been on stage since 1975. He has given hundreds of concerts in Turkey and the Balkans, released 12 albums.
The famous singer of Rumelia songs Arif Shentyurk sang in the center of Kardzhali on June 13, 2018.
