Skype gave the good news. You don’t have to learn English anymore

Skype, one of the most popular communication platforms of today, has activated a feature that has the potential to solve the language barrier in live conversations for years. The platform was translating the conversations live and transferring them to your ear. But Skype’s live translation feature has not been released directly for all languages.

Today, the expected news came for Turkish Skype users. With the new update released for the iOS and iPadOS versions of Skype, Microsoft made bug fixes in the application. On the other hand, Turkish language has been added to the ‘Translated Conversations’ feature with the update.

WHAT IS THE SKYPE TRANSLATED CONVERSATIONS FEATURE?

Skype’s Translated Conversations feature lets you communicate and chat live in a different language with people from anywhere in the world. The feature, which can only be used for individual calls, automatically translates your voice and reflects your translated speech as subtitles to the call window.

HOW TO TURN ON SKYPE DIALED CONVERSATIONS FEATURE?

In the Chats tab, right-click or tap and hold your contact to choose to view the profile.
Click or tap Submit translation request.
A notification will be sent to your contact that you want to allow translated conversations. They must select acceptance to continue.
Once your invitation is accepted, your instant messages and calls will be translated into the language of your choice.
Your Translated Conversation will still appear in your chats with that person.
