A few hours ago, Capcom released a site with a mysterious countdown. The countdown will end at two in the morning of the next Monday (the 21st). The site basically only has the counter, and the company has given no clues as to what will happen at the end of it, but speculation by fans and the media has obviously already started.

Some see the color palette as indicating that it would be something related to Resident Evil. And that might even be an exaggeration, were it not for the fact that rumors about a remake from Resident Evil 4 are in full swing. One of the most recent rumors even says the title will be announced in early 2022.
A less exciting possibility is the already announced DLC of Resident Evil Village, which was announced in June 2021 and has yet to appear. Or it could be something else, including something completely unrelated to the Leon, Ethan and company franchise. We probably won’t have more information before the countdown ends, so we can only wait and imagine what it could be.
