A woman died this Sunday at Pré-Saint-Gervais, after jumping out of the window from the seventh floor. His apartment burned down.
The victim jumped from the seventh floor. The tenant of an apartment located in Pré-Saint-Gervais, in Seine-Saint-Denis, died this Sunday morning during a fire. The fire started around 8:15 a.m., indicates the Paris Fire Brigade (BSPP).
The flames destroyed an apartment located on the top floor of a building. The accommodation, with a surface area of 100 m2, completely burned down during the disaster. The call that alerted the emergency services indicated that a person had climbed out of a window.
The information was then confirmed by the firefighters, once on site. “Resuscitation maneuvers were attempted, but without success.“, explains the BSPP.
The firefighters got “some difficulties“to enter the apartment, due to an armored door, but the fire was quickly brought under control, in about an hour. Thirty firefighters were on site to extinguish the flames.
The final toll is one dead, there were no other victims.
