Biało-Czerwoni will start the first series of the competition on the hill in Zhangjiakou, starting at noon (Polish time), composed of: Kamil Stoch, Dawid Kubacki, Piotr Żyła and Paweł Wąsek.
The latter replaced Stefan Hula in the line-up for an individual competition at a large facility and took the opportunity. He took 21st place in his Olympic debut. Stoch was fourth, Żyła 18th, and 26th – Kubacki, a bronze medalist from a normal facility.
Four years ago, the Norwegians triumphed in Pyeongchang, ahead of the Germans and Poles. At that time, the white and red squad consisted of, apart from Stoch and Kubacki, Hula and Maciej Kot.
This time, very evenly jumping Slovenes are considered favorites, but Poles, Germans, Austrians, Norwegians and Japanese also have their advantages, and some even see the representation of the Russian Olympic Committee as a “black horse”.
This is the last competition in ski jumping during this year’s Olympics.
