Flatland and her husband were instead ordered to pay legal costs of almost NOK 350,000. Now they are anchoring.

In the first round, it was lawyer Gina Kristiansen Borgersrud who represented the couple. In the appeal round, Flatland and Dobloug have hired senior lawyer Tommy Ravndal, a specialist in real estate.

– We refer to the appeal and have no comments beyond this, Ravndal writes in an e-mail to VG.

VG receives confirmation from the Oslo District Court that the case has been appealed, but that there is no access to an appeal from the court.

The thing was up in court in January. In the final post that was sent to Oslo District Court just before Christmas, the couple’s lawyer justified the million claim with “Complete drainage failure” in the Oslo villa.

The couple must not have found signs of the errors in the home purchase, but must have complained immediately when they discovered the moisture downstairs during the renovation.

The other party’s lawyer, Andreas Langeland, for his part, maintained that the seller had no knowledge of errors beyond what was stated before the sale.

Flatland and Dobloug raised 14.5 million for the Oslo villa. The disputed home by Holmendammen was registered in July last year, and Flatland and her husband own half each.
