Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The government will reduce quarantine obligations for foreign travelers (PPLN) both Indonesian citizens (WNI) and foreign nationals (WNA) next week. From 5 days to 3 days.
This was stated by the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Panjaitan in a press conference, Monday (14/2/2022)
“The government is careful to implement the PPLN quarantine, even though the world’s countries has started implementing quarantine-free, the government continues to apply the 5-day policy for PPLN,” he explained.
“Starting next week, PPLN and having received a booster, the quarantine period is reduced to 3 days with the condition that the PCR exit entry is on the third day in the morning and PPLN when the negative results come out,” he explained.
Luhut confirmed that the PCR test results can now be obtained in a matter of hours. So that the mobility activities of people who come from abroad are not hampered.
“PPLN is advised to test again on the fifth day, and report health conditions to the nearest health center or facility,” he concluded.
