Samsung immediately opened orders for its product line shortly after its release, including the series Galaxy Tab S8. But now, at least in the United States, those reservations are closed.
Reported by GSM Arena, Monday (14/2/2022), on the Samsung website in the United States, both the Galaxy Tab S8 and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra have been labeled “Sold Out” and only the Tab S8+ can be ordered at this time.
In an official statement, Samsung said this step was taken because of the very large number of orders for the Galaxy S8 series. As a result, they will temporarily stop ordering this device on the official website.
“We are very pleased with the consumer response to our new Galaxy Tab S8 line. Due to overwhelming demand over the past 48 hours, we will be temporarily suspending orders on Samsung.com for the Galaxy Tab S8 ultra and Galaxy Tab S8,” Samsung wrote in a statement. .
“We are trying to meet consumer demand,” added the South Korean company.
Meanwhile on the Samsung Indonesia website, from detikINET monitoring, the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra can no longer be ordered because it is “sold out”. While the Galaxy Tab S8 and Tab S8+ in various color variants can still be ordered.
Unlike the Galaxy Tab S8 which has an “only” 11 inch (LCD) screen and the Galaxy Tab S8+ which is “only” 12.4 inches (AMOLED), the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra has a very large diagonal screen, which is 14.6 inches (AMOLED).
These three tablets use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 brain which is made with 4nm fabrication. The Galaxy Tab S8 and Tab S8+ have 8/12 GB RAM configurations and 128/256 GB storage. The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra has a choice of 8/12/16 GB RAM and 128/256/512 GB storage.

Samsung opens preorders for the Galaxy Tab S8, S8+ and S8 Ultra until March 3, 2022. The prices for the three tablets in Indonesia are:
