A Gold Union agency has opened in downtown Lisieux (Calvados) since February 1, 2022. The group specializes in the sale and purchase of gold, silver and platinum.
Geoffrey Cramoisy, head of the agency, welcomes with or without an appointment and offers “free expertise”. Gold Union buys back jewellery, coins, ingots, scrap… The price is fixed “in relation to the price of gold, which changes every day”, and, for coins and ingots, “at the quotation”. “We don’t do stones and diamonds,” adds the manager.
Sale of coins and bars
Regarding the sale, Geoffrey Cramoisy discusses with customers and offers them choices of coins and ingots according to their budget.
There is no stock on site, it is on order.
The manager works alone in the store. Gold Union, which has developed its network in the northwest of France, also has branches in Caen (Calvados) and Évreux (Eure). The group was seduced by the location of this premises opposite Place Mitterrand, previously occupied by the clothing store Les jolies choses. Work was carried out for a month before the branch opened.
