Coach FK SenicaPavel Sustr, considers the crushing defeat of Slovan Bratislava nothing more than a lesson for a better future.
FK Senica had to start the second round of the Slovak league with a five-goal defeat to the leaders. Existence A Maulana Vikri and Witan Sulaeman have not been able to help the club nicknamed Zahoraci to get points.
Sustr felt his team failed to play the scheme he wanted so he couldn’t surprise Slovan.
Apart from this, Sustr believes that FK Senica has learned an important lesson before undergoing the next matches in the competition, officially known as the Fortuna Liga.
“On the other hand, I consider today a challenge, every defeat will teach you something. Today we were shown that we still have a long way to go,” said Sustr. FK Senica.
In that match, Witan appeared fully from the early minutes. Meanwhile, Egy played for 82 minutes. Witan is played on the left winger position, while Egy Maulana Vikri plays on the right position. Both flanked the Greek striker, Giannis Niarchos.
This scheme has been implemented by Sustr in test matches which took place in January and February. The expectation of getting a positive result was only paid off by a crushing defeat in Witan’s debut match.
Slovan already led 1-0 in the 14th minute through Alen Mustafic’s goal. The score changed in the 36th minute after Vasil Bozhikov scored.
In the second half, Slovan scored three more goals against Henrich Ravas through Jaba Kankava, Ivan Saponjic and Rabiu Ibrahim.
The addition of three points makes Slovan firmly at the top of the standings with 49 points, or is seven points away from Spartak Trnava. Meanwhile, FK Senica dropped to seventh with 24 points.
