Singer Adele (33) has a son, but is now thinking about more children. She tells this in a conversation with Graham Norton. In it, she also reveals that the Vegas concerts will really “happen one hundred percent” and that this year. “I want a baby next year,” she adds.

In the conversation with Graham Norton on his talk show The Graham Norton show she first looks back at the canceled concerts in Las Vegas. “I’m sorry I lasted so long,” she says. Adele has been criticized in recent weeks for the late message of the canceled shows. “Some things wouldn’t arrive until the day of the first show, so I couldn’t give my approvals. There was also too little manpower. It would end up being half a show, and I can’t do that. People would see that I didn’t want to do that show.”

But delay is not adjustment, she promises. She does not want to give a new date yet, but behind the scenes is working hard, she says. “The announcement will only come when I have real data.” But will it be this year, Norton asks. “One hundred percent! They will absolutely happen this year. I want a baby next year! (laughs) Or do I have plans for next year. Then imagine that I have to cancel because I am having a baby.”
That it’s no joke is apparent when she comes back to it later when it comes to her major periods of media silence after major tours after an album release. “Like I said, I would like to have more children. It will depend on them whether I stay away long. To be honest, I feel like I’ve only just caught up on my sleep from nine years ago when my son (Angelo, whom she got with her ex-husband Simon Konecki, ed.) was born.” (laughs)
