“Until the end of February 2022 YLKI opened a cooking oil complaint post. So, please the public and consumers who still find anomalies about cooking oil, either due to scarcity or because the price is still high, please make a complaint at the number provided,” said the Chairman of the Indonesian Consumers Foundation ( YLKI) Tulus Abadi in an online press conference, Friday (11/2/2022).

The public can make complaints through the website: www.pelayan.ylki.or.id or call (021) 7971378 and (021) 7981858.

Tulus explained that this complaint service was a form of testing the government’s policy regarding cooking oil.

Because, YLKI sees, the government keeps giving promises to fulfill supply but in reality cooking oil is still hard to find.

“This service is a test of whether the government’s policies are effective or not. Yesterday the government promised that everything would be sorted out on February 1, but it hasn’t. Until now there are still problems. Yesterday the government promised again for the third week of February, and then in the third week it promised to withdraw,” he explained.

To that end, Tulus invites the public and all consumers to report the problem of cooking oil to YLKI.

“We invite the public and all consumers to report it to YLKI as a form that the public or consumers today are really victims,” he pleaded.
