In the screenshot shared by WABetaInfo, the new voice calling interface is made cleaner and more concise. There are two panels with a typical WhatsApp background wallpaper.
The top panel displays the name or number, a picture of the contact and how long the call lasted. While on the bottom panel there are speaker, video, mute and call mute buttons.
Especially for group voice calls, there will be waves on each contact. The wave is to let the user know who is speaking during a call.

Currently this new look of the voice calling interface is only in the Android beta, WABetaInfo ensures that in the coming days it will be in the iOS beta test. However, there is no prediction when the new display will be available to all users.
