Most Participants in the 2022 AFF U-22 Cup Disappointed Indonesia U-23 National Team Canceled Participation

BOLASPORT.COM – Chairman of PSSI, Mochamad Iriawandescribe the reaction of the opposing team when Indonesian U-23 National Team cancel the match at 2022 AFF U-23 Cup.

The target of the U-23 national team to maintain achievements in the 2019 AFF U-23 Cup was finally canceled.

Many of the Garuda Muda squad players who were infected with COVID-19 made PSSI and coach Shin Tae-yong finally cancel sending teams to the tournament.

A total of 7 players were exposed to COVID-19, 4 players had to undergo quarantine and 3 players were injured.

Even though coach Shin Tae-yong is in the spotlight right now.

This is because the South Korean coach was able to formulate a strategy that succeeded in bringing the Indonesian national team to the final round of the 2020 AFF Cup.
