Electromobility in Germany picked up speed significantly in the past year. According to the Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA) in Flensburg, the number of new registrations of e-cars last year rose by around 83 percent to almost 356,000. That is almost ten times as many locally emission-free electric vehicles as in 2018. The curve for deliveries of fully electric models shows also further up at Audi.
