Les Cliniques de l’Europe, the first Brussels hospital to win the Actiris Diversity label

A label that the hospital group receives this Friday.

The Cliniques de l’Europe, which include the Clinique Saint-Elisabeth in Uccle and the Clinique Saint-Michel in Etterbeek, were rewarded this Friday by Actiris and the Brussels Minister for Employment: they have just obtained the Diversity label, the first hospital to achieve this. This label goes to employers “who acknowledge, respect and value differences in the work environment“, underline the Clinics.

Thus, thirteen actions have been undertaken within the hospital group in terms of recruitment, personnel management, internal communication and external positioning: awareness training, but also in terms of anti-discrimination, etc. All this within the framework of a global diversity plan, signed in 2019 with Actiris. A working group has also been appointed to monitor the progress of the actions.

Diversity in all its dimensions is an essential value at Cliniques de l’Europe: we are convinced that gender, origin, age, sexual orientation, philosophy of life, or disability are all elements which constitute our individuality and the strength of our teams“, explained Dorien De Man, attached to the formation and coordinator of the plan of diversity of the Clinics of Europe.
