And so fans of the actress took to Instagram and Twitter to write down their displeasure about the wax figure. According to fans of Zendaya, Madame Tussauds especially missed the mark with the outfit and facial expression of the actress.

The new wax figure was created from measurements and references taken during a meeting with the artists in 2015. Zendaya already has two wax figures at Madame Tussauds in San Francisco, which look more like her than the latest addition. The actress attended the unveiling of the other two figures in 2015 and even posed for selfies next to the sculptures. Now she has not yet commented on her latest doppelganger, but her fans already have.

“You accidentally made it Kylie Jenner,” it sounds on Twitter. “Is this really the best you could make it?” wrote another user. The reactions on Instagram were also not tender: “Of all her iconic outfits, this is the choice you have made?”, it sounds indignant in the reactions. “Did you use a melted-down wax figure of Kylie Jenner for this?” asks another user.
