According to the organizers, the author’s most solo exhibition to date is “the story of a constantly flowing river of information and images in the world of thoughts, actions and temptations that are constantly interrupted.”

“My works have the most unimaginable states of the soul, in which I comment on people and situations. In my expression, it is poetry rather than prose, because while working I break away from pragmatic tasks and follow the subconscious,” says Māris Čačka.

“Neurotacinas” is a lyrically stylized concept from the dictionary of neuroscience that forms a link between Māris Čačka’s images and contemporary challenges – the incomprehensible flow of information. Maris Čačka essentially creates portraits and dedications in the area between painting and graphics, but the form is not figurative or even abstract. “He sticks to what has” thickened “only so much that visible imprints can be formed on canvas or paper.
