4 Things that differentiate the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra from the previous generation

As in previous years, there were three models introduced, namely the Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Samsung Galaxy S22 Galaxy S22 Ultra. Galaxy Ultra is a model that is quite attention-grabbing this time.

Not only because it carries specification the tallest of the two models, but the Galaxy S22 Ultra brings a few new aspects.

In fact, the update brought by the Galaxy S22 Ultra is a differentiator compared to the Galaxy S line of previous generations, especially for the market Indonesia. What “surprises” did the Galaxy S22 Ultra bring from the previous generation?

Snapdragon version for Indonesian market

So far, Samsung has always marketed two versions of the Galaxy S series line, namely the Android version chipset Snapdragon and Exynos. Indonesia is one of the countries that “subscribes” to the Exynos version.
But not for this year.

For the first time, Samsung is marketing the Snapdragon version of the Galaxy S series trio in Indonesia, through the presence of the Galaxy S22 Ultra. This is a “surprise” for Samsung fans in Indonesia.

The reason is, so far the Snapdragon version of the Galaxy S series is only marketed in a few countries, such as the United States and South Korea. In fact, Indonesian Samsung fans have been craving the Snapdragon variant of the Galaxy S for a long time.

Before the Galaxy S22 series, the last time Samsung brought the Snapdragon version of the Galaxy S series to Indonesia was through the Galaxy S5 which was released in 2014, or eight years ago. At that time, the Galaxy S5 was powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset.

According to circulating information, apart from Indonesia, other regions that are allocated the Galaxy S22 series with Snapdragon chips include the majority of Southeast Asia, North America, South America, East Asia, Oceania, West Asia, Middle East, and Africa.

While the Galaxy S22 Exynos 2200 variant will be marketed in West Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
