Bakrie Group Company Found 4.6 Million Ton Gold Reserves in Palu

Gold ore reserves of 4.6 million tons were found in Poboya, Palu, Central Sulawesi. This discovery is the result of drilling a subsidiary of PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS).

The subsidiary of BMRS that discovered the gold ore reserves was PT Citra Palu Minerals (CPM).

A little information, most of the shares in CPM are owned by BMRS as much as 96.97%. That is why CPM is a subsidiary of BMRS.

Furthermore, the gold content found in the drilling earlier was 1.19 g/t Au. This gold ore was recovered from open pit mining sites on River Reef and Hill Reef which are part of the Poboya Block (Block-1).

CPM also provides up-to-date information on the progress of the construction of the second gold ore processing plant. This factory will be able to process as much as 4,000 tons of gold ore per day.

All the main equipment needed by the factory is planned to arrive in Pali in February and March 2022.

Some of its main equipment are SAG MILL, BALL MILL, CRUSHER, CYCLONE, ELUTION, and ELECTROWINNING, which are being fabricated or in the process of forming overseas in Australia, South Africa and China.

“Almost all the main equipment from the factory is expected to arrive in Palu on schedule in February and March 2022,” said BRMS President Director, Suseno Kramadibrata in a written statement received by detikcom, Thursday (10/02/2022).

BRMS hopes that this second factory can start full production in the 3rd quarter of this year. Thus, it can have a positive impact on the performance of gold production, sales and net profit at BRMS.
