Selular.ID – News about launch time iPad Air has blown, previous information stated that the latest iPad Air will be released in March or April. However, information from MacRumour mentions, that the tablet will launch this spring at the event to be held on March 8.
As expected, the new iPad reportedly will bring several updates. The iPad Air will likely introduce new color options to differentiate the updated model from the existing iPad Air.
The leak is that the iPad Air will be available in silver, gray, rose gold, green, and sky blue.

As iPad Pro, iPad Air features an all-screen design, but doesn’t include Face ID. Apple instead uses the Touch ID Power button for authentication purposes. The tablet will continue to feature Touch ID, and will have a 10.9-inch display and a USB-C port.
Like the latest iPad mini, the updated iPad Air will adopt a 5G chip that will allow it to connect to 5G networks.
Chips in iPad mini limited to the sub-6GHz 5G network rather than the fastest 5G mmWave network, so it’s possible we could see the same limitation on the iPad Air, but not guaranteed.
Sub-6GHz 5G is the more widely available version of 5G that can be found in urban, suburban, and rural areas across the United States and other countries, while mmWave 5G is more limited in availability and coverage.
AT&T and Verizon recently expanded their 5G networks with C-band spectrum increasing the availability of mmWave networks in the US, so it’s possible that Apple will take this into account when updating the iPad Air.

Expect the iPad Air to get the same 6-core A15 chip as the one in the iPad mini 6 and lineup iPhone 13. Apple downgraded the A15 chip in the iPad mini, so it runs at 2.9GHz instead of the 3.2GHz it does on the iPhone, but it’s unclear if the same clock speeds will be used for the iPad Air.
The price of the iPad Air is not expected to change, and it will likely cost the same as the current iPad Air. Existing models start at $599, which is around IDR 8.5 million for 64GB of storage. While 256GB of storage is available for $749.
