He could not survive the tragedy with his mother, who committed suicide 3 years ago.

The terrible tragedy shocked the loved ones of a 20-year-old student from Plovdiv, Valentin Belev, who committed suicide yesterday on his birthday. He stabbed himself several times with a knife, a fatal blow to the heart was confirmed in the “24 hours ” by the Plovdiv police.

Valentin studied law at the new Bulgarian university and it is still not clear why he resorts to the fatal choice. He was the son of Dr. Galina Arabadzhieva, who also committed suicide on February 27, 2019. According to her colleagues, she fell into a severe mental disorder and rushed from the 7th floor.

Now her son has chosen the same path, but it is unknown why. One of the versions is that he very dramatically accepted the death of his mother and was unable to overcome it during these three years.

His father was also a doctor and worked at the prestigious Plovdiv Hospital. He is literally depressed, his colleagues say.
The signal about the lifeless body found in the boy’s house was transmitted by phone 112 yesterday. The police and medics who arrived at the scene only pronounced him dead. According to the police, there are no signs of violence.
Dozens of his colleagues are shocked and not themselves. “Sleep well, Valka! We will miss you very much. May God forgive you,” they write in his profile.

According to them, nothing said that he would encroach on his life. He loved to play sports and climb to the top.

“We are not conquering the mountain, but ourselves,” reads his post on September 4, 2021, when he climbed to the top of Musala. He was an animal lover. He was meeting with friends, and his photos show that he is a smiling and serene young man.

May God forgive him!
