Rights of persons
The data controller for this study will be the promoter, either
Pierre Fabre Medicine. As the data controller, the
promoter will assume responsibility for the processing of personal data,
in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
[2016/679/UE, entré en vigueur le 25 mai 2018]. The legal basis being the interest
legitimate interests of the data controller, the data will be collected at
for research purposes in the field of health. In accordance with the provisions
in accordance with the GDPR, patients will be able to exercise the following rights at any time :
– access: patients will be entitled to request access to their data
as well as in the form of a free copy (Article 15, GDPR) ;
– rectification: patients will be entitled to request the rectification of
incomplete or inaccurate personal data concerning them (Article 16, GDPR) ;
– limitation: patients will be entitled to request to suspend treatment
of certain personal data concerning them, for example if they wish that
the promoter establishes their accuracy (Article 18, GDPR) ;
– refusal: patients may object at any time to the treatment of their
personal data. In this case, no new data will be collected.
However, the data already collected may continue to be used. Faith
that the link between the data and the identity of the patients will have been deleted, which
will mean that these data will have become anonymous, it will no longer be possible to
destroy ;
– deletion: patients will be entitled to request that the data
collected by the promoter be deleted. However, it will not be possible
to erase all the data collected in case this deletion is
likely to prevent or seriously jeopardize the achievement of the objectives
research.
If patients have questions about their rights as patients of this study
regarding the protection of personal data, or a complaint about
the use of their personal information, they will be able to contact the doctor
investigator or the research team. They will then be able to submit their questions
to the data protection officer of the promoter or to the representative of
promoter’s data, as required.
