Not Sean Dhondt but Aaron Blommaert will present the next season of “The Voice van Vlaanderen” together with An Lemmens. The 19-year-old Blommaert still participated in 2015 in The Voice Kids. That writes The latest news.

19-year-old Aaron Blommaert is a jack-of-all-trades. He acts in Family, presents at MNM and sings in the boy band Bobby. He has participated in singing competitions several times in recent years, including The Voice Kids in 2015, and now becomes An Lemmens’ new sidekick. The latter will remain on board, however. Blommaert will have backstage conversations with the candidates and catch them after their performances.

“The Voice Of Flanders is really already one of the highlights of 2022 for me right away,” Blommaert responds. “I know what it’s like to be a candidate, so I really try to reassure them. It’s a big and fine show that you get into and that you forget to enjoy from time to time. So that’s going to be my top priority now: enjoy.”
In The Voice of Flanders Blommaert thus takes over the role of sidekick from Sean Dhondt, who for years had been doing the interviews after the performances. Dhondt himself would have no new TV plans for the time being. “Sean will certainly still be seen on the VTM channels in the future. It is still too early to say anything concrete about that,” VTM responded in The latest news. The channel denies that Dhondt’s replacement has anything to do with the sexting scandal of late 2020. At that time, nude images of Dhondt were circulated and his relationship broke down.
The new season of The Voice of Flanders will be on television this fall. Besides a new presenter, it was also announced that there will be two new coaches: Mathieu Terryn from Bazart and Jan Paternoster from The Black Box Revelation will take their place alongside Natalia and Koen Wauters. They will take the place of Niels Destadsbader – who moved to VRT – and Tourist LeMC.
