Queen Elizabeth wants Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, to become queen consort. That title refers to the wife of a reigning king and would become ‘Queen Camilla’ in the future, writes the British broadcaster BBC.
A spokesperson for Camilla tells the broadcaster that she is “moved and honored” by Elizabeth’s statements.

The 95-year-old British monarch received volunteers and members of the local community at the Sandringham estate.
Back in public
It was only Elizabeth’s first public appearance this year. According to British media, she looked good and chatted with everyone in attendance.
The Queen carried a walking stick and wore a diamond brooch on her light blue dress. She used a cane in public for the first time last October.
