The avalanche occurred near the Austrian-Swiss border in the municipality of Spis, the Tyrolean Emergency Response Center said on Friday afternoon.
There is no information on the identity of the victims, including their nationality.
Information on 31 avalanches was received by Friday afternoon, officials confirmed.
Four of them have been confirmed injured.
