On the 21st match day of the Bundesliga, there are two top games. Borussia Dortmund host Bayer Leverkusen on Sunday. Second in the table, BVB started the second half of the season with three wins. The pursuers from Leverkusen are in a similarly good form, having scored seven out of nine possible points.
The other game Bayern Munich against RB Leipzig (Saturday, 6.30 p.m.) would have been the duel for the top of the table last season. Statistically, it doesn’t look plump for Leipzig. RB have won just one of eleven league games against Bayern and since that 2-1 home win in March 2018 they have been without a win in seven games in the top flight, drawing four and losing three.
Bundesliga start: a draw in Berlin
Hertha BSC started against Bochum on Friday. Although the Berliners had started well, they slacked off in the second half. In the end it was a deserved 1-1 draw.
