Betina Ivaylova from Vratsa, who studied to be a midwife at the Medical University in Pleven, made an interesting comment on her Facebook profile.
Her post is on social media, but she raises a very important question for the protesters – to have a measure and not to instill undeserved hatred towards doctors and nurses, because tomorrow there will be no one to help them.
See what Betina Ivaylova wrote:
“I thought to refrain from commenting on what happened in the Emergency Department at the Vratsa Hospital, but I did not refrain. First, because I am a health worker and second because I am a resident of the city.
Admittedly, I couldn’t watch the whole video. For me, this is not only sad, but also a mirror of what is happening in the society in which we live. I will not touch on the topic that our healthcare system is in complete chaos, nor that education is a short joke, but I want to point out something else.
The joke is that the majority of the population of the northwestern region does not have access to medical care, timely or not! Forgotten, rejected and isolated from the world, they die in peace, but it is already accepted as something normal and natural and no one protests.
So in this line of thinking… When our protests become one-man and we start blaming our values, ideals and human behavior, then change may eventually begin.
PS: The funnel should start to narrow, as well as a strainer!
Who understood, understood … “
